Mike Poot Band

Mike Poot Band, based in Farmington, Minnesota, 

was founded in 2024 and has quickly emerged 

as a vibrant force in the regional music scene 

through the performances of the Mike Poot Band. 

Known for their heartfelt and authentic

sound, the band blends elements of Americana,

folk, rock, blues, and country, creating an 

engaging and soulful live experience that

resonates with audiences across the Twin

Cities Metro area and beyond.

Fronted by the accomplished musician 

Mike Poot, the band draws inspiration from 

iconic artists such as Tyler Childers, Whiskey

Myers, The Eagles, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill 

Simpson, and The Allman Brothers Band, 

melding traditional influences with 

contemporary storytelling. 

Starting from intimate acoustic settings, 

Mike Poot expanded to a fullband format, 

enhancing the depth and versatility of their 

performances while maintaining the raw 

emotion and connection that first defined

his solo shows.

Since its inception, the Mike Poot Band 

have been featured at local venues, festivals,

vineyards, and community events, including

notable performances at  the Chaska Music 

Fest and Farmington’s local stages.

songs and creative covers, all delivered 

with an authenticity  that highlights the rugged 

yet melodious spirit of the American heartland.
